Background
ApprovalWare Inc. is a Deleware Corporation, created February 4th, 2002 for
the purpose of ongoing development and marketing of information services, business processes
and technology models originally created by its predecessor organization, InterMedia, Inc., a
small New York-based media and technology agency.
Partners
Robert Swern (President and COO)
Up to the formation of ApprovalWare in early 2002, Bob was one of two senior partners in
InterMedia, Inc. At InterMedia, Bob led
company efforts on various project assignments and accounts, including, among many others,
public relations and media creative for Fujitsu Network Communications, online promotion for
American Express Financial Direct, and comprehensive technology, infrastructure and marketing
development for a website for corporate book retailing which contained one of only four, online,
commercial databases with over 2.5 million books in print, www.cbmsi.com (at the time, in
early 1998, two of those “other three” websites were www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.
com).
Mark Archambault (CEO)
Mark has spent his entire working career in the automotive finance and insurance industry.
A native of Quincy, Massachusetts, just south of Boston, Mark jokes that he "majored in baseball"
while attending Eastern Nazarene College. Soon after college, he became the first finance manager
in the largest Ford dealership in New England, Muzi Ford. He continued developing his career
in automotive retail management throughout the 70’s.
Scott Huggins (Vice President and CTO)
After working in the Aerospace industry for over 5 years with Lockheed Martin, Scott turned his interests toward the
financial markets. In particular, he quickly became an expert in the Credit industry while working for
Kroll Factual Data as their eLending interface manager. He worked for QuickenLoans prior to working
with Approvalware.
Peter Stormant (CFO)
As head of NY-based Nova Capital Partners’ Investment Banking unit, Peter brings a wealth of
experience and knowledge gained through over fifteen years in the financial services industry. He
has a distinguished academic background, with degrees from Harvard and an MBA from the
Stern School of Business.
Christine Jowdy (VP)
Christine is a talented art director and multimedia developer with over a decade of design and
marketing experience. Among her extensive professional accomplishments are numerous, award-winning projects and
job experiences with Fortune 500 firms and their related brand divisions , including: Sony, Sears,
Canon USA, Viacom, Haines, Ann Taylor and Goldman Sachs, to name just a few.
